Mrs. Willie Faye Champion, 80, of Eclectic, passed away February 2, 2014. She was born June 19, 1933.
Visitation will be Monday, February 3 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Friends may call from 1:00 to 2:00 pm, Tuesday, February 4 with the service to follow at 2:00 pm at Tallassee First Assembly of God with Rev. Travis Bittle and Rev. Lucy Gosa officiating. Pallbearers will be Terry Champion, Ferron Champion, Tony Sides, Scott Champion, Tim Brown and Steve Brown; Brandon Parnell will serve as honorary pallbearer. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by sons, Terry Champion (Linda) and Ferron Champion (Katherine); daughters, Donna Ellis and Peggy Morris (Johnny); sisters, Ruth Young (Willie) and Margaret Sanford (Doc); ten grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Willie Timothy and Inez Thomas.
