Virgil Dinkins

Virgil Dinkins, 63, of Tallassee, passed away March 19, 2023. He was born March 7, 1960 in Louisiana. Virgil grew up in Kankakee, IL area and attended Bradley Bourbonnais Community High School. Later in life, he relocated to Tallassee, Alabama.

He is preceded in death by his father, Bob Dinkins and grandparents, Virgil and Janit Land. He is survived by his mother, June Harrison of Texas; son, Virgil Dinkins, Jr. of Missouri; daughters, Trinity Dinkins (Ryan Green) of Kankakee, IL and Michelle Dinkins (Scott Brosnan) of Wheeling, IL; grandchildren, Phoenix and Luis Dinkins, Ryker Green and Noah, Emmy and Luke Dinkins; siblings, Bob (Julie) Dinkins of Illinois, Tina (Steve) Poole, Jimmy (Huong) Turner, Kimmy (David) Gray and Patty Turner all of Texas; Robert (Harriett) Dinkins and Laurie (Lenny) Schreck all of Missouri; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Virgil enjoyed fishing, Nascar and the Dallas Cowboys.

On March 27, 2023, a memorial was held to honor Virgil's wishes to spread his ashes in the Bayou of Plaquemine Louisiana by his family.
