Tina J. Grant

Mrs. Tina J. Grant, a resident of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday December 3, 2024, at the age of 55. She was born July 22, 1969, in Tallassee, Alabama, to Curtis Barry Hyde and Jane B. Ballentine. 

Mrs. Grant is survived by her husband, Brian (Bubba) Grant; son, Brian Allen Grant; brother, David (Dooby) Hyde (Jennifer); nieces, Deidra and Allie Hyde; Aunt Francis Gantt, Aunt Judy Culpepper, Aunt Ellen Flowers (Alvin), Aunt Nellie Ruth Ballentine; sisters-in-law, Beverly Johnston, Marie Deramous; and many cousins and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, George A. (Sonny) Chavis, Jane B. Chavis; Aunt Jean Coleman; Uncle Tooney Ballentine, Uncle Bubba Ballentine, Uncle Bill Culpepper, Uncle Raymond Gantt, Uncle Ricky Coleman; cousin, Billy Wayne (NooNoo) Culpepper, cousin, Sissy Ballentine; father in-law, Tom Grant; mother in-law, Exie Grant; and sister in-law, Kim Grant.

Tina was devoted to her family and friends, always with a smile and never a cross word. TJ as she was called loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and thanked Him every day for the blessing we all know as Brian Allen Grant. Tina leaves a void that can’t be filled with anything but God’s peace. We must carry on in a world that is a little dimmer without her smile and a little colder without the warmth of her big heart.

Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 pm, Thursday, December 5, 2024, with the funeral services following at 2:00 pm at Linville Funeral Home Chapel. Graveside will be at Carville Cemetery following the funeral with Pastor John Sparks officiating.
