Steven Douglas Lee

Steven Douglas Lee, 61, of Tallassee, Alabama, passed away peacefully at his home on the morning of Tuesday, August 22, 2023. He was born March 27, 1962.

Steve is survived by his wife of 38 years, Patricia Ann Lee; parents, Jerry Joe Lee and Dorothy Leigh Lee; sister, Vicki Lee-Brown (Frank); son, Andrew Lee (Mandi); daughters, Stephanie Hathcock (Eddie) and Erin Carter (Nathan); and grandchildren, Kaleigh, Elijah, Natalee, Willow, Cade and Liam.

He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, papi, son, and brother. He will also forever be remembered by his community as a truly gifted, unique artist with a list of talents and credits too long to list.

Steve has left behind a legacy of his one-of-a-kind artwork that stretches across most of Georgia and central Alabama. Taking a stroll through lovely downtown Wetumpka reveals the mastery of his craft that he loved so much. He will surely be missed by all who have had the pleasure of knowing him and calling him friend.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday August 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm CST at Vessel Church, 205 Ellis Lazenby Rd, Eclectic, AL 36024 with Rev. Adam Turner officiating.
