Spencer Leon Shepard

Mr. Spencer Leon Shepard, 58, of Tallassee, passed away July 13, 2019. He was born February 28, 1961 in Marion, Alabama, to Lula Mae Billingsley and Richard Moore.

He worked for the school system in Perry County (Marion), Alabama and then moved to Tallassee. Spencer dedicated himself to being a good worker in his community on Joy Street in Tallassee. He was very approachable to everyone. His departure leaves a void in the hearts of his family and friends. He was loved and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Spencer leaves behind to cherish his precious memories a brother, Samuel Billingsley; sisters, Claudia Ann Osby, Victoria Billingsley, and Fannie Mae Billingsley, all of Orlando, FL; uncle, Johnny Johnson; aunts, Ester Mae Johnson and Elizabeth Johnson of Orlando, Fl; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other friends.

The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to the many acts of love and kindness bestowed upon them during this time of bereavement. The phone calls and other good deeds, including the fund that was established, will forever linger in our hearts.
