Robin "Bubba" Snyder Jackson

On November 1st, 2023, Robin "Bubba" Snyder Jackson, 62, was welcomed by Jesus into heaven after a lengthy battle with End Stage Renal Disease.

Robin married her high school sweetheart, Rick, in 1982 and she started a 22-year journey as a military spouse supporting her husband and country. They served throughout the world in various locations like Idaho, Germany, Virginia and then finally planted their roots in Alabama in 1995. Throughout their 41 years of blissful marriage, they were blessed with two children, Richard F. Jackson Jr. (Amy) and Kristen L. Garro (Richard). Robin was very fortunate to have three grandchildren Alexander, Troy and Mia Garro and three god children Bailey, Mackenzie and Tyler Newell. Robin was preceded in death by her mother, Donna L. Snyder, brother, James C. Snyder Jr., and brother-in-law, Robert L. Reekes. She also left behind a beloved family, her devoted husband Richard F. Jackson, her father James C. Snyder, her siblings Jackie Snyder, Lori Reekes (Robert), Michelle Smith (Jason), Jamie Jones (Brian), and Jerri Brown (John). She also had many nieces and nephews who loved and adored her.

Robin dedicated her life to her children, grandchildren, god children, husband and God, for these were her "SUNSHINES". During her struggles with breast cancer, diabetes and End Stage Renal Disease, she faithfully trusted in her Lord. She always said, "It is in God's hands". Now until we meet again, "You are OUR Sunshine".

We welcome you to join her family and friends as we rejoice in her entrance into God's hands on Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at 2 p.m. at Linville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory in Eclectic, Alabama. Visitation with the family will begin at 1 p.m.
