Paula Johnson

Paula Gail Crew Johnson departed this life for her heavenly home on Sunday, September 22, 2024 at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery with her loved ones at her side.

Paula was born to James and Mildred Crew on October 17, 1954 in Valdosta, Georgia. She was truly one of a kind. She loved her family, was free-spirited, tender hearted and had a huge heart for animals. Her beautiful smile and compassionate way left an indelible mark on everyone. She will be greatly missed.

Paula is preceded in death by her parents, James and Mildrew Crew; her in-laws, Schaffer and Carolyn Johnson; nephew, Stephen Woodruff; sister-in-law, Janice Stough and dog babies, Molly and Lil Bit.

She was much loved and leaves to cherish her memory her sweetheart, Gary Johnson; beloved son, Jeremy Klein; sisters, Robbie Norris and Diane (David) Woodruff; brother, Jim (Nancy) Crew; a host of sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, friends and her precious dog babies, Dazey and Dolly.

Expressions of love and sympathy may be made in her memory to the Elmore or Montgomery County Humane Societies.

At her request, no services are scheduled at this time. A celebration of life with family and friends will be held at a later date.
