Olive Golden

Olive Holley Golden, 89, passed peacefully in Opelika on June 1, 2022. She was born March 16, 1933 in Red Hill, Alabama. Visitation will begin at 11 am with funeral service to follow at 12 noon on Monday, June 6, 2022 at Refuge Baptist Church with Bro. Steve Scarborough officiating. Honorary pall bearers will be David Duncan, Kyle Duncan, Levi Hall, David Hall, Dylan Hall and Walker Goldin. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

Olive is preceded in death by her parents, Lewis E. and Carmen Holley; her beloved husband, William “Hasty” Golden and sons, Brian Keith Golden and William “Bill” Golden.

Olive is survived by her daughter, Julie Golden Duncan (David); grandchildren, Olivia K. Hall (Levi), Kyle A. Duncan (Claire), Erin Duncan and Holley Browne (Dan); thirteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
