Nora Lena O'Steen

Nora Lena O'Steen, 87, of Tallassee, passed away October 11, 2023. She was born September 13, 1936.

Visitation will begin at 1 pm with funeral service to follow at 2 pm on Friday, October 13, 2023, at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Voss officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Mary Evans; her husband of 53 years, Raymond O'Steen; brothers, Jack Evans, Dan Evans and Albert Evans and sister, Ellen Phillips.

She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth Milner (Mitch) and Lynn Hornsby (Mike); son, William O'Steen; sisters, Glenda Spivey, Bonnie Gray, Connie Fomby and Dale Wilson and grandchildren, Jessica O'Steen, Mandy Milner and Corey O'Steen.

She enjoyed shopping and going to yard sales. In her quiet time, she would be working puzzles and cross stitching. Then she found the joy of going to the beach and looked forward to those times.
