Nicholas Andrew Turner, 35, of McCalla, Alabama, passed away April 14, 2025 was born August 23, 1989 in Montgomery, Alabama, to Charles Turner and Cindy Reyes.

Nick grew up in Elmore County and graduated from Prattville High School in 2007. He entered the United States Marine Corps right after high school and served with 1st Battalion 6th Marines (1/6) in Marjah, Afghanistan. Nick's unit fought against the Taliban; his unit received presidential recognition and a Medal of Honor for their bravery. Nick was proud of his service with the United States Marine Corps. He later married the love of his life, Rosanna (Adcock) Turner. They were married 4 years and together a total of 8 years. Nick loved his job as a lineman and made many friends. He never met a stranger. 

Visitation will begin at 12 pm, Monday, April 21, 2025 at Our Lady of Gaudalupe Catholic Church, Wetumpka, Alabama; funeral service will follow at 2 pm.

Nick is survived by his wife, Rosanne; his fur babies, Remi, Colt and Wesson; his parents, Charles (Kay) Turner and Cindy (Allen) Reyes; brother, Charlie Turner; brother-in-law, Buggs (Joanna) Adcock; father-in-law, Buddy Adcock and grandmother, Ronelle Pace.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents, D. L. and Josie Turner; mother-in-law, Teri Adcock; grandfather, Nick Pace; grandparents, Ralph and Betty Jean Adcock and Carl and Virginia Adcock; and a host of uncles, aunts and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of love and sympathy may be contributions to the National Center for PTSD via www.ptsd.va.gov.
