Mrs. Minnie Holdbrooks, age 96, a resident of Eclectic, passed away February 16, 2012. She was born October 10, 1915.
Visitation will be Saturday, February 18, 2012 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside funeral service will be Sunday, February 19 at 1:30 pm at Pleasant Grove Cemetery with Rev. Britt Green officiating.
Pall bearers will be Sam Lanier, Sidney Lanier, Jimmy Thornton, Joe Teague, Duane Bowe and Derrik Moore. Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
She is survived by grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Felton Holdbrooks; and daughters, Joyce DeLoit Valentine and Doris Lanier.
