Mary Kathryn Dennis

Mary Kathryn Dennis, 95, of Tallassee, passed away August 2, 2024. She was born March 23, 1929.

Visitation will begin at 11 am, Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at Friendship Baptist Church where she was a member. Funeral service will follow at 12 pm with Rev. Trey Waldrop officiating. Burial will follow in Friendship Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jessie T. Mathis and Mary Jo Mathis and husband of 68 years, Reuben Rhett Dennis, Jr.

She is survived by her children, Steven Dennis (Shelia), Rebecca Gregory (Dudley), Jan Miller (Ray) and Vicky Lackey; six grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

She attended Friendship and Tallassee school systems and worked at Mount Vernon Mills for over 40 years.
