Marie Miller Milam

Marie Miller Milam, a resident of Tallassee/Reeltown Alabama, native of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away August 2, 2023 after a courageous three-year battle with cancer. She was born December 4, 1963.

Marie is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Alan Milam; daughter, Amy Creamer (Christopher); grandsons, Greyson and Warren; sisters, Patti Ragan (Ronald) and Linda Miller (Mike); as well as nephews, Justin Levins (Ashley and 3 daughters), Boone Levins (Robin and 1 daughter) and Kevin Edwards (1 daughter). She is preceded in death by her father, John Wesley Miller and mother, Ruth Oswalt Miller.

Marie was the best wife, mother, sister and friend anyone could ask for. She loved and cared for everyone and always put everyone else's needs above her own. She was a faithful servant of the Lord and gave generously of her time and talents to her church and community. She loved spending time with her family, especially her two grandsons, as well as her many friends. Marie will be greatly missed by all that knew her, but we take great comfort in knowing that she is in the presence of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 1:30 pm with a memorial service immediately following at 2:00 pm at First Methodist Church of Tallassee, Alabama with Rev. Clint McBroom officiating.
