After a life filled with love, faith, and devotion, Mamie Garnita Flurry Hall, known as "Nita" entered into the presence of her Savior, Jesus Christ on February 18, 2025. She firmly believes she is not truly gone but waiting for the day when her loved ones will join her in eternity. Nita was a devoted teacher, missionary and faithful wife.
Her faith is the foundation of her life, and she lived as a true servant of God. Born on March 5, 1932, her 92 years were a testament to her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, whom she loved dearly.
The outpouring of love and support from so many, both before and after her passing, is a testament to the reach of her faith and lives she touched across the world. Her love for flowers mirrored the beauty she cultivated in her life and in the lives of those she touched.
Nita dedicated her life to serving others. As a teacher, she nurtured young minds and instilled a love of learning in countless students. Her passion for sharing the Gospel led her to serve as a missionary in Africa, bringing hope and God's love to those in need. This experience undoubtedly shaped her life and deepened her commitment to serving others. She was the devoted wife of Edward Hall, together they faithfully lead and served at Salem Road Baptist Church together where she taught Sunday School for many years. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and service. Her memory will be forever cherished by her family and all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is preceded in death by her husband Edward, sons Mikeal & Mark, and granddaughter Rosamond Hall-Morris. She is survived by her son, Matthew Hall; brothers, Paul and Marcus Flurry; grandchildren, Joshua Hall, Mondray-Hall Cuevas, Janna, Jordan, Josiah, Jonathan Hall, Jericho, Jacob, Jedidiah and Jaala Hall; and great-grandchildren, Cruz, Trey, Brynn and Brooke Hall, Everley, Arabella, Ember and Tekoa Cuevas, Hadley, Hayden & Elijah Hall, and Adeline Dearinger.
Refuge Baptist Church in Red Hill will be conducting a celebration of her life at 11:00 AM on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, February 21, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Linville Memorial Funeral Home in Eclectic.
