Karen Godsy

Karen Godsy passed peacefully in her sleep at the age of 79 on May 22, 2021. She was an avid reader, yard-sale aficionado, and board game strategist. She was born June 8, 1941.

Karen was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers. She is survived by six children: Jon M. Knight (James), Timothy Godsy, Annette Owens (Rex), Jefferson Godsy, Kathleen Fiorini (Dennis), and Peggy Prince (Troy); twelve grandchildren: Amanda Vincent, Jessica Knight, Jon Marie Cook, Stevens Godsy, Jacob Fiorini, George Robert Godsy (Samantha), Brittany Hathcote (Steven), Zachary Fiorini (Candra), Blake Prince, Ashley Owens, James Wayne Godsy, and Scott Prince; seven great-grandchildren: Michaila Vincent, Alyssa Vincent, Emily Vincent, Riley Cook, Christopher Godsy, Calvin Prince, and Liam Prince; one great, great-grandchild, Kamir Vincent-Patterson; and sister Nancy Ingalls (Jerry), as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 26, 2021 at Pentecostal Life Church, 3627 Stanley Street, Montgomery, AL 36109 from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Funeral service will be Saturday, May 29, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at Linville Memorial Funeral Home, 84632 Tallassee Highway, Eclectic, AL 36024 with Reverend Albert Smith and Reverend Tony Glass officiating. Visitation will also be from 1:30 p.m. until time of service at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Stevens Godsy, Jacob Fiorini, George Robert Godsy, Zachary Fiorini, James Wayne Godsy and Blake Prince. Masks permitted, but not required. Burial will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory directing.
