John Terry Wadsworth

John Terry Wadsworth, 77, of Millbrook, was called home away July 3, 2023. He was born March 16, 1946.

He is preceded in death by his parents, John and Agnes Wadsworth; his wife of 38 years, Betty Wadsworth; sister, Shirley Baker and brother, Donald Wadsworth.

He is survived by his siblings, Kathy Strength (Don) and Judy Winslett and several nieces and nephews. The family extends special thanks to our nephew, Larry Wadsworth, for the care he lovingly gave Terry while he was in the nursing home and also special thanks to cousin Mike Dennis for his loyalty and support.

Terry's first love was to God and as a faithful member of First United Methodist Church of Millbrook, he demonstrated strong Christian leadership and characteristics. After serving in the Army National Guard, he worked for the State of Alabama and the Millbrook Police Department for a number of years. His orderly approach to everything was reflected in his hobbies of gardening and genealogy. He left everything he touched in a neat and proper fashion. He was greatly loved and will be deeply missed.
