John Arant

Mr. John Phillip Arant, Sr. “Twink/Radar”, age 62, a life-long resident of Tallassee, passed away March 28, 2012. He was born January 30, 1950.

He is survived by his spouse, Diane Arant; sons, Thomas Bradberry (Arant) and John P. Arant, Jr. (John-John); daughter, Ricci M. McClellan (Scotty); grandchildren, Caden M. Arant, Breanna M. McClellan, Ashley McClellan (Jarvis), John P. Arant III (J.P.) and Miranda M. Arant; brother, Ronald Alan Arant (Della) of Biloxi, MS and nephews, Jeffery Arant of Opelika, AL and Ronnie Arant of Biloxi, MS. He is preceded in death by his mother, Alma Ree Arant and father, John D. Arant, Jr. (Jack).

Mr. Arant served his country in the U. S. Marine Corps and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Uniroyal and loved Auburn football. He loved his family and friends and he will be greatly missed by all who loved him.

The family will have a private memorial service.
