Joanne Ingram Johnston

Joanne Ingram Johnston, 88, of Eclectic, Alabama, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 1, 2024. She was born November 25, 1935.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Laymon and Lizzie Belle Ingram; brother, Buck Ingram and son, Timothy "Brother" Johnston.

Leaving to cherish her memories are her son, Kim (Rebecca) Johnston; daughters, Cindy (Wayne) Lyle and Lisa (Richey) Roper; grandchildren, Chris (Sherry) Johnston, Dyron (Ashlee) Johnston, Jennifer (Nick) Lyle-Mattox, Lauren Lyle, Amber Roper and Samantha (Hunter) Sanford; ten great-grandchildren; sister, Dianne (Carl) Cavallaro; brother, Daymon Ingram and special friend, Lonnie.

Ms. Johnston's family would like to express their gratitude for the care and compassion shown to them by the staff at Tallassee Health and Rehabilitation and Community Home Health and Hospice Care of Tallassee, with special thanks to her nurse, Rena.

Ms. Johnston spent most of her life in Central, Alabama. She enjoyed playing her piano, solving crossword puzzles, watching Nascar and enjoying the outdoors.

Funeral service will be held at Linville Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at 12 noon with Brother George Smith officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Central Baptist Church in Central, Alabama.
