Jimmy Wayne Shores

Mr. Jimmy Wayne Shores, 71, of Eclectic, passed away April 25, 2019. He was born January 29, 1948.

Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 28, at 2 pm at Watson Chapel with Rev. Ken Keppel officiating. Pall bearers will be Thomas Hamburger, Cody Hamburger, Max Parfait, Rick Krauzyk, Julian Walvoord and Bradley Hammack. Honorary pall bearers will be Jason Dell Johnson and Douglas Johnson. Burial will follow in the church cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 28, from 1 pm until service time at the church.

He is survived by his sisters, Mary Dell Mask and Minnie S. Johnson; brother, Clyde Wesley Shores; nine nieces and nephews and eighteen great nieces and nephews.

Jimmy was an avid sports enthusiast; he loved Alabama football and Braves baseball. He was a life long member of Watson Chapel Church. He loved spending his free time sitting in the swing on the front porch listening to sports on the radio and waving at passing cars. He enjoyed attending the senior center in Eclectic where he had met numerous friends.
