Jerry Donald "Don" Farris

Jerry Donald "Don" Farris, 76, departed from this life at his home in Eclectic, Alabama surrounded by his family on May 18, 2024. Don was born on June 4, 1947, in Jasper, Alabama to Thelma Edwards and J.D. Farris.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Charles Kenneth Farris. He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Katie Thornton of Eclectic, Alabama; his sons, Jeremy Daniel (Lisa Hofler) and Jason Donald; his brother, Jack Edward (Bobbye); his nephew, Jon Edward (Lynn); his sister-in-law, Bonnie; his sister-in-law, Dean Williams; and several nephews and nieces.

Don was a naturalist, a romantic, and a southerner. Expressions of sympathy may be memorial contributions to Children's Harbor.
