Janice Hathcock

Janice Furlow Hathcock, 58, passed away unexpectedly on April 18, 2010 at her residence.She was born October 31, 1951.

Graveside funeral services will be at 11:00 am, Saturday, April 24, 2010 at Rose Hill Cemetery with Elder Joey Miller officiating and burial following, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

She married Art Hathcock in 1993 and he also passed away April 18, 2010. She is survived by her mother, Hilda Furlow; two sons, Art Hathcock of Wetumpka and Miles Hathcock (Angie) of Tallassee; sisters, Linda Roy (Wayne) and Tammy Evans (Mark); grandsons Bruin and Bry Hathcock; special friends, Lamar and Sharon Dykes; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews. She is preceded in death by her father, James Furlow and brother, Reynolds Furlow.

Janice graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Montgomery, AL.She worked at Jackson Hospital in Montgomery and Community Hospital in Tallassee for many years.She worked as a dispatcher for Eclectic Police Department and also at Maxwell AFB in Accounting.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Friday, April 23 at East Tallassee Church of Christ.
