Janet Katherine "Jan" Prince

Janet “Jan” Reynolds Prince, 56, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on September 6, 2021 after a long battle with cancer. She was born September 9, 1964 in Panama City, FL and resided in Eclectic, AL with husband, Larry Prince, and dog Rikki Jill.

Memorial service will be Saturday, September 11, 2021 at 12 noon at Linville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory with Pastor Gary Merkel officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 am until service time at the funeral home.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Vernon and Mildred Reynolds and husband of 30 years, Paul Smith. She is survived by her husband, Larry Prince; daughter, Amanda (Ryan) Wesson; granddaughter, Evelyn Kate Wesson; stepsons, Chris (Holly) Prince and Jamie Prince; siblings, Cheryl Edmonds, Skip Reynolds, Robin (AJ) Hardy and Wesley (Candace) Reynolds; seven nieces and nephews; numerous other family members and Starke family and friends.

She was loved dearly by her family and friends. The family extends special thanks to Montgomery Cancer Center and Amedisys Hospice.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society.
