Jane Elizabeth (Taylor) Pilgrim, 80, died peacefully on June 30, 2024, surrounded by her family in Tallassee, AL.
Mrs. Pilgrim was born on February 8, 1944, in Tallassee, AL, and is preceded in death by her parents, Lemma Lee Taylor and Daniel Benjamin Taylor, both of Friendship, AL; her husband of 39 years, Bobby Ray Pilgrim; and grandson, Clay Martin.
Mrs. Pilgrim is survived by her daughters, Leigh Pilgrim Clark of Loxley, AL and Christy Pilgrim Martin and husband, Neil Martin, of Tallassee, AL; her three grandchildren, Mason Clark of Loxley, AL, Madelyn Martin Mask and husband Dillan Mask and Ethan Martin all of Tallassee; and best friend, Sherrie Reeves.
Mrs. Pilgrim was a beloved stylist for over 30 years. For many of those years, she was the hair stylist for the Masonic Nursing Home in Montgomery, AL, touching many lives with her kindness and love. Mrs. Pilgrim was a devoted wife, mother, and friend to all who met her.
A special thank you to her caregivers, Nancy Foster, Rachel Dale, and Charmin Winsett for their kindness and loving care these past few months.
Mrs. Pilgrim's celebration of life will be Wednesday, July 3, 2024 with a graveside ceremony at 10:00 am at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery.
