James Samuel White

James Samuel White, 78, of Wetumpka, passed away November 28, 2024. He was born on August 27, 1946.

 Visitation will begin at 11 am, Friday, December 6, 2024 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home, followed by funeral service at 12 pm with Rev. Ruben Prater officiating. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Rockford, AL.

 He is survived by his sister, Connie Watters; brother, Harold White; brother-in-law, Ronnie Watters; sister-in-law, Tommy Joyce Miller; nephews, Daniel Watters, Steve Watters, Tyler Watters and Brian Murchison; nieces, Michelle and Scott Price, Mason and Mady Price, Chandler and Bridget Price, Dana Miller, and Andrea Wright; girlfriend, Hattie Moseley; good friends, Mike Mosely, Lydia and Danny Davis, and Hoppy Ward; cousin, June Talley and many other cousins and friends.

 He is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth White; son, Matthew White and baby born deceased, Jamie White.

 Sammy was a glazier by trade for many years, he loved his work and enjoyed hunting, fishing and attending church.
