James Edward "Jimmy" Garrett

James Edward "Jimmy" Garrett, Sr., age 78, of Tallassee, passed away May 22, 2024. He was born November 25, 1945.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Russell and Irene Garrett; brother, Tommy Garrett and sister, Cathy Ward.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Annie Lee Garrett; son, James Garrett (Dale); grandson, Dalton Garrett (Izzy); granddaughter, Courtney Garrett (Heath Clements); great-granddaughters, Stevie Garrett and Makenna Clements; sister-in-law, Gwen Garrett and son Tim; and brother-in-law, Bryan Ward.

Visitation will begin at 6 pm, Thursday, May 30, 2024 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial service will follow at 7 pm. with Bro. Farron Golden officiating.
