James Earl Kelley

James Earl Kelley, age 74, a native of Tallassee, AL passed away April 1, 2024. He was born February 13, 1950 in Tallassee, AL.

Visitation will be Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home at 11 am, followed by the funeral service at 12 pm, with Rev. Chris Whittington officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James F. Kelley and Mildridge Hood and his wife of 44 years, Peggie Ledbetter Kelley. He is survived by his brother, David Kelley (Sheree); four children, Scotty Blankenship, Lawana Noah (Donald), Rex Kelley (Cecily) and Zoe Kelley; grandchildren, Dakota Blankenship, Jessica Gregoire, Tonya Hunter, Taylor Noah, Anna Thorkveen, Jeremy Noah, Mason Kelley and Maylin Kelley; great-grandchildren, Caleb Blankenship, Leon Gregoire, Gracie Blankenship, Gabby Blankenship, Ethan Hutson, Aubrey Casey, Michael Hutson, Jaxson Hutson, Aiden Noah, Kyleigh Thomas and AiraBella Thorkveen; brother-in-law, Jerry Ledbetter (Sarah); two sisters- in-law, Shirley Cowan (Rick) and Brenda Johnston and many nieces, nephews and "PawPaw" to many other children and ALL who knew him.
