James "Buster" Baggett

December 4, 1943 — November 30, 2022

Mr. James "Buster" Baggett, 78, went to be with his Savior on November 30, 2022 surrounded by his wife and daughters. He was born December 4, 1943 to Carl and Edith Baggett in Selma, Alabama and grew up in Orville, Alabama.

A memorial service will be held from Mulder Church, where he was a member for many years. Visitation will begin at 1:30 pm, followed by the memorial service at 3:00 pm on Sunday, December 4, 2022. Rev. Jonathan Hart and Rev. Mark Jackson will be officiating.

He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ahna Faulkner Baggett; daughters, Christy Baggett Davis and April "Courtney" Baggett; grandchildren, Maylon Davis and Will Davis; sister, Linda Baggett Richards (Tommy); a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and his beloved kitty "Lily".

Buster spent his career of 33 years with Mutual Savings Life Insurance, a company founded by members of his own family. After retirement, he enjoyed driving a special needs bus for Elmore County Schools. Buster enjoyed fishing and Auburn football. Buster died like he lived, as a true disciple and servant of God.
