Gerald Ronald "Jerry" Warren, Sr.

Gerald “Jerry” Warren Sr., 84, of Tallassee, passed away March 19, 2020 surrounded by loving family. He was born August 2, 1935 to the late Roy and Thelma Warren of Tallassee, Alabama.

He is survived by his children, Ronny (Debbie) Warren, Katharine (Thomas) Flanders, Steve (Kay) Warren, Keith (Pam) Warren and Mark (Lisa) Warren, thirteen grandchildren and a large, loving extended family.

Jerry was a dedicated member of Good Hope Baptist Church. As a US Navy Veteran, he served during the Korean Conflict. He was a faithful member of the Alabama Cattlemen’s Association and also retired from Civil Service with over 30 years of service. Jerry had a passion for beef cattle farming and family genealogy. He also enjoyed reading, especially military history. He loved his family and wrote the most wonderful letters and will be remembered for his generosity to family and friends.
