Gerald William Kracke (Gerry) of Tallassee, passed away on April 8, 2025 at the age of 68. He was born April 26, 1956.

Gerry is preceded in death by his parents, Elmer William Kracke and Wanda Lou Stewart and his father-in-law, Earl Sayers.

Gerry is survived by his wife of 25 years, Rhonda Sayers Kracke; sons Eric Robertson (Tonya), Heath Robertson (Yessica) and Cory Castleberry (Amery); grandchildren, Branson, Jenna, Brice, Laina and Riverly Robertson; brother, Donald Kracke (Dawn); sisters, Deborah Guy (Bob) and Dina McWilliams (Jim); mother-in-law, Anne Sayers; brother-in-law, Mark Sayers and 22 nieces and nephews.

After graduating from Dixie Hollins High School, Kenneth City, Florida in 1974, Gerry joined the U.S. Air Force serving his country for 20 years. While in the Air Force Gerry received his Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University in 1987. After his retirement from the Air Force in 1994, he began a career in law enforcement for 25 years. He worked as a police officer for the City of Millbrook, a deputy and investigator for the Elmore County Sheriff's Office, was Commander of the Central Alabama Drug Task Force and worked as an investigator for the District Attorney's Office in the 19th Judicial Circuit of Alabama until he retired in 2018.

Gerry enjoyed many years of motorcycle riding and loved attending rallies and charity rides. He also enjoyed hunting, was a huge Florida Gator fan but his greatest passion was spending time at home with his family.
