George Oliver Harris

Mr. George Oliver Harris, 90, of Eclectic, passed away April 25, 2019. He was born August 27, 1928.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, May 1, at 2 pm, at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with Rev. John Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in Carrville Cemetery, with military honors, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 30, from 5-7 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home.

Mr. Harris honorably served our country in the U. S. Army. He is survived by his wife, Patricia “Ann” Harris; son, Steve (Christy) Harris; brother, Floyd Harris; sister, Naomi Hill; grandchildren, Mary (Trey) Lindsey, Patty (John) Williams, Judy Carwile (Jeremy Ott), Dustin Harris, Mason Carter, Dylan Carter, Charles (Glenda) Carwile, D. J. Carwile, Dana Carwile, Janet (Scotty) Millwood, Roylee Carwile Jr. and Dean Harris; and eighteen great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Joshua and Annie Harris; daughter, Deborah Holloway; brothers, Albert Harris and Frank Harris; and sister, Idabell Boswell.
