Ellen Ballentine Flowers

Ellen Ballentine Flowers, 83, a resident of Tallassee, passed away April 19, 2025. She was born February 10, 1942.

She is preceded in death by her parents, William Odell and Cora Ballentine; brothers, Tunny and Bubba and sisters, Jean and Jane.

She is survived by her husband, Alvin Flowers; children, Chris Garnett, Stacey Gowan (David), Tony Garnett (Candace) and Kelly Lyons (Chris); grandchildren, Brad Garnett, Linda Stewart, Emily Scott, Anna Garnett, Elizabeth Garnett, Peyton Lyons and Gabe Lyons; several great-grandchildren; and sisters, Frances Gantt and Judy Culpepper.

A private memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
