Dorothy Capps

Dorothy Capps passed away August 13, 2024 at the age of 94. She was born September 14, 1929 and was a resident of Kent, Alabama. She spent her last years as a resident of Tallassee Health and Rehab.

Graveside service will be Monday, August 19, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Rose Hill Cemetery. Bro. George Smith will officiate and burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery.

She is preceded in death by her husband Fred Capps; daughter Mary Southern; son Bobby Day and three brothers.

She is survived by daughter Priscilla Jones and son Sand (Ronnie) Day; son-in-law Jerome Southern and wife Sue; nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren and one great-great- grandchild.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Ivy Creek Hospice and Tallassee Health and Rehab for the care and compassion they have shown during Dorothy's illness.
