Doris Taylor-Jacobs (Na) a native of Tallassee/Eclectic, AL passed away March 6th, 2024 at her home surrounded by her friends and family. She was born on August 10th, 1929 in Tallassee, AL.

She was proceeded in death by her parents, Wilma and Bill Harris, her husband of 55 years Billy Taylor, her husband of 12 years Rice Jacobs; and nephew, Fred (Virginia) Harris.

She is survived by her children, Tony (Fran) Taylor, Steve (Cindy) Taylor, Kenny (Dolores) Taylor, Penny (Chris) Harper; Sister, Elaine Rowe; grandchildren, Zac Taylor, Jessica Taylor, Alex (Alli) Taylor, Kelsey Taylor, Taylor (Kendall) Harper, Stephanie (Bri) Taylor, Morganne Harper; great grandchildren Dylan Rodgers, Arlee Taylor, Wes Harper, Ellis Taylor; as well as host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

Na was a teller at the bank of Eclectic for 30 years while successfully raising her 4 children. She was a loyal member of Good Hope Baptist Church for 64 years; being active in her Sunday school, WMU, VBS and many other church activities and organizations. After retiring she enjoyed attending many events involving her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved to travel, enjoyed spending time with her family and friends while also supporting her beloved Auburn Tigers and Atlanta Braves.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Community Hospital and Community Home Health & Hospice Care staff. Na loved her Encouragers, Sunday School Class and we are especially grateful for their love, faithfulness, dedication, care and fellowship to her over the years.

A Special Thank You to Denise Fortner for her attentive care and dedication to Na and our family.

The family will receive friends beginning at 10:30 followed by funeral service at 12 at Good Hope Baptist Church on Saturday, March 9, 2024, with Pastor Kenneth Hill and Pastor Jamey Walls officiating. Graveside service will follow, weather permitting. Pallbearers; Tommy Wesson, Jay Johnson, Tony McGhee, Jason McGhee, Daniel McGhee and Luke Rowe.

Expressions of sympathy may be memorial contributions to Good Hope Baptist Church.
