Diana Engelke, 77, of Tallassee, passed away March 9, 2022. She was born December 13, 1944.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 am with funeral service to follow at 10 am on Monday, March 14, 2022 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wetumpka with Bishop Royce Eves officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Gilead Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Rosella Engelke; sister, Karen Warren; brothers, Robert Eugene Hibbard and Raymond Bernard Engelke and paternal grandmother, Margaret Lee.
She is survived by her children, Stephanie Bryan, John Bryan, Margaret Bryan, Mary Bryan, Carlotta Rose (Jimmy) Jones, Anna-Belle (Ron) McMahon and Chantele Carwile; twenty-two grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren; sister, Gail Weber and a large, loving extended family.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Wetumpka. She enjoyed genealogy and family history, as well as traveling. She accomplished a dream of becoming an over-the-road truck driver, which she thoroughly enjoyed.
