David Lanier “Pork Chop” Gray, 66, of Tallassee, passed away October 14, 2020. He was born July 17, 1954.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 18 at 3:00 pm at First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Bobby Hornsby officiating. Burial will follow at Carrville Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home & Crematory directing. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until service time at the church.
He is survived by son, David (Billie Shae) Gray; daughters, Holly (Lem) Ellis and Haley
(Jake) Edwards; grandchildren, Suzy and Chandler Gray, Lacey and Kalen Thompson, Natalie Spain, Gabe and Hope Ellis, Hannah Taylor and Ben Tindall, Caleb and Drew Gantt, Josh Hornsby, Jackson and Logan Hornsby, Daylan and Jasleigh Edwards, William and Sara Gantt and Sam and Brian Gantt; siblings, Rebecca Gray (Bobby) Segrest and Virginia Gray (Daryl) Thompson; brother-in-law, Tommy Aldridge; sisters-in-law, Linda Wood (Steve) Caudle, Debra Wood (Tommy) Harris, Patty Wood (Chris) Morse, Sherry Wood (Brad) Linville and Donna Wood.
He is preceded in death by his parents, David and Lucile Gray; wife, Pamela Kay Wood Gray; siblings, Janice Gray Aldridge and Carolyn Gray Colley and brother-in-law, Terry Wood.
He worked as a Letter Carrier for the United States Postal Service for 37 years.
