Mr. Daniel Graham, 86, of Eclectic, passed away June 25, 2014. He was born December 30, 1927.
Visitation will be Friday, June 27 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11:00 am at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Vaughan Gardner, Rev. Daniel Rhodes and Rev. Topper Reid officiating. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.
He is survived by his wife, Bobbie Rhodes Graham; son, Byron Graham; daughter, Kristy Henderson (Wayne); sisters, Dean Blake and Doris Kinsaul; sister-in-law, Lurilla Graham; brother-in-law, Preston Ingram; and grandchildren, Kaleb Graham, Kelly Sanders, Brenton Williams and Joey Henderson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Brant and Liddie Graham; brothers, Lawton Graham and Ed Graham; sister, Rebecca Ingram and granddaughter, Kristen Sanders.
Daniel was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church all his adult life where he was a faithful church member and served on several committees. He retired from the State of Alabama as a master carpenter; he also worked in the Surplus Division. He loved woodworking and will be remembered for the gun cases and furniture he made and gave to friends. He was famous for his shadow boxes and clocks that he gave as gifts to friends when they retired. He loved Auburn Tigers and Atlanta Braves and enjoyed produce gardening and fishing.
