Christopher "Chris" Steven Hall

Mr. Christopher "Chris" Steven Hall, born November 28, 1979, in Tallassee, Alabama gained his heavenly wings February 5, 2024, due to an extended illness. He was the son of Tommy Hall and Mary Lois Payne Hall.

He is preceded in death by both his parents, Tommy Hall and Mary Lois Hall; grandparents, J.D. Payne, Lucille Baker Price, Larry Price, Willie Hall and Ethal Lett; bonus grandson, Abel Donahey; uncles, William Hall and Randy Hall; and aunts, Carolyn Mulder, Marilyn Bland and Ann Stewart.

He is survived by his wife, Kathy Hall; his daughters, Haley Hall and Emily Hall; his sister, Tammy Roberts (Mike); bonus children, Morgan Donahey (Josh), Levi Knight (Brandi), Mallory Waters (J.D.) and Railey Jowers; nephews, Zach Roberts (Brittany) and Hunter Roberts (Sarah); bonus grandchildren, Noah Donahey, Karoline Donahey and Elijah Knight; uncles, Jim Mulder and Jessie Hall (Lynne); aunt, Opal Collier (Charles); life long best friend and chosen brother, Justin Lantz and several cousins.

Pall bearers will be Zach Roberts, Hunter Roberts, Josh Donahey, Jermarcus Owens, Justin Lantz, and Jeff Andrews. Honorary pall bearers are Mike Roberts, Levi Knight, Jimmy Lazenby, Reid Swicord, Tyler McCloud, Andy Lazenby and Jim Mulder.

Visitation will be Friday, February 9, 2024, at 11 am with funeral to follow at 12 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home in Eclectic with burial to follow in Rose Hill Cemetery. Speaking will be Rev. Jonathan Yarboro with Brother Ted Price officiating. 

Chris had a laugh and a smile that were so contagious. He was a ray of sunshine for anyone that knew him. The love he had for his family and friends could never be accurately described in words. As his children and family have grown, Chris has gained many bonus children that have become bonus adults who have looked to him as a father figure.
