Charlton "Chuck" Meadows

Charlton "Chuck" Meadows, age 70, of Tallassee, passed away August 5, 2024. He was born April 1, 1954.

A memorial service will be held at 6 pm, Thursday, August 8, 2024 at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Bro. Danny Rodgers will be officiating.

Chuck is survived by his son, Bradley Meadows (Ashli Grant); sister, Sherry Atkins (Ricky); close family friends, Lindsey Bruner (Justin), Carli Aldridge and Wayne Smith; his beloved dogs, BeBe and LuLu; and a host of nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Dora Voncille Meadows and half siblings, Donald Watkins and Dot Rutland.

Chuck enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching Auburn football, playing softball, and spending time with family and friends. He helped many people in the 50+ years that he did auto body repair, where he owned his own business for nearly 30 of those years. Chuck could be found most everyday at Huddle House enjoying breakfast with friends. Many knew him as Coach Chuck for all the years he coached baseball and softball. All that knew him could tell you what an honest and generous man he was and he will forever be loved and missed by many.
