Carrie Ruth 'Ms. Ruth' Robertson, 90, of Eclectic entered into the arms of her beloved Jesus on December 17, 2022 after a short illness. She was born March 26, 1932, in Bullock County Alabama.
She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Howell Robertson, son George Thomas Robertson and brothers John Daniel Brooks and John Thomas Brooks. She is survived by her daughter Ella Robertson, Eclectic, son Joel Robertson (Dianna), Bristol, TN, grandchildren Jason Robertson, Richmond VA, Joshua Robertson (Samantha), Raleigh NC, Cassandra Robertson, Bristol TN, Kaitlyn Robertson, Bristol TN and Grace Robertson, Bristol TN, as well as numerous nieces, nephews and countless friends.
Throughout her life she sought above all to honor Jesus Christ by living a life that pointed others to His saving grace and goodness. This was demonstrated by the Christian life she lived daily, her active membership of First Baptist Church Eclectic, involvement in mission trips to South Africa, Brazil and several US locations, volunteering with the Kindness Ministry, teaching Sunday School and most of all keeping, and praying through, an extended list of everyone who ever asked her to pray for them.
Professionally she was able to live her faith as a registered nurse touching and being used in the comfort and care of far too many individuals to count.
The celebration of life and homegoing of Ms. Ruth will be Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 10 am at First Baptist Church Eclectic with Rev. Britt Green officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery. A receiving of friends and family will be Monday, December 19, 2022 from 6:00 - 7:30 pm in the fellowship hall of First Baptist Church Eclectic.
