Carolyn Dooley

Carolyn Blair Dooley was called home to be in the presence of her Lord and Savior, on November 7, 2012, following her battle with Cancer. She was born September 3, 1954.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her Mother, Jean House Blair, and her Husband, George Michael "Mike" Dooley. Carolyn is survived by her Father, William Johnson Blair of Florida; Sisters, Patricia Blair Alexander (Pete) and Debra Blair Glass, both of Florida; and Brother, William Russell Blair of Florida.

Carolyn is also survived by her children, Chrissy Dooley-Calhoun (Jeremy) of Alabama, Shannon Michael Dooley of Alabama and William Matthew Dooley (Justina) of Alabama. Carolyn also leaves behind her most precious legacy of six beautiful and beloved grandchildren, Amanda Dooley-Calhoun of Alabama, Rebecca Lynn Calhoun of Alabama, Shane Michael (Dooley) Langhammer of Alabama, Mason Monroe Calhoun of Alabama, William Matthew-Vincent Dooley of Alabama, and Stacey-Jean Michelle Dooley of Alabama. Carolyn is also survived by numerous beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces and Nephews and life-long friends.

The family will receive friends Friday, November 9 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, November 10 at 2:00 pm at Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery, Elba, Alabama, located at 774 County Road 547, Elba, Alabama 36323.
