Mr. Bobby Gene Singleton, a resident of Tallassee, was born January 16, 1936 and passed away on September 22, 2012 at Community Hospital in Tallassee.
Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Lou Ella Singleton, a son, Randy Singleton and step-daughter, Karen Williams.
He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Millie Singleton; two sisters, Mildred Whitaker and Sara Barber; granddaughter, Shannon Ward (Toby); step-son, Steve Gaither (Heather); step-daughter Wanda Sternberg (Sam); great-grandchildren, Joshua Ward and Bella Kate Ward; step-granddaughter, Hannah Gaither; and good friend and neighbor, Charles McGhee.
Bobby was retired from the Tallassee Police Department and Trailways Bus Company. Bobby has finally found peace; he is with Randy.
Per his request, there will be no formal services.
