Billy Elmer Hunt

Mr. Billy Hunt, 84, of Eclectic, passed away October 24, 2021. He was born August 1, 1937.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, October 28, 2021 at 2 pm at Eclectic Church of God with Bro. Calvin Thornton officiating.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Pilgrim and siblings, Robert, Nancy, Glenda and Linda. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carolyn C. Hunt; children, James Marty Hunt (Annette), William “Bill” Boyd Hunt (Sheri) and Brenda Hunt; five grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; siblings, Herschel Hunt, Lynn Stone, Wayne Gibbs and Brenda Bond; and a large, loving extended family.

Billy was a founding member and builder of Eclectic Church of God. He was the owner and builder of Hunt’s BBQ in Eclectic and Kent. His hobbies were gardening, building, golfing, hunting and fishing.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to Eclectic Church of God.
