Billie Doris Carden

Billie Doris Carden, 95, of Mayfield, KY, formerly of Eclectic, AL, passed away on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at Baptist Health Center in Paducah, KY.

She is survived by three sons, Wayne Carden, John (Cathy) Carden and Donnie Carden; one daughter, Anita (Gary) Blasingim; twenty grandchildren, Winston Carden, Delisa (John) Hutto, Melissa Pettus, Tammy Winslett, Sandra Daniel, Hope Precise, Billie (Chase) Belknap, Edward Macon, Bobby Gammons, Karen (Steve) Gann, Marsha (John) Vandenbrook, Richard Carden, Bethany (Jack) Vanpool, Ashley (Rick) Seabaugh, Jared Carden, Lori Cooper, Michael Uding, Matthew Uding, Crystal Hobbs and Jennifer Robbinette; one sister, LaVonne Wilson; a host of great and great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Andrew F. and Cora Florence Proffitt Saunders; her children, Gloria Macon, Linda Tylicki, Roger Carden and Michael Carden; four sisters, Jessie Mullins, Oleta Nickerson, Ollie Vee Zoller and Ruby Nell Green; and four brothers, Peyton Saunders, John Saunders, Wilson Saunders and Andrew Saunders.

Visitation will begin at 11:00 am with funeral service to follow at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, January 10, 2023, at Linville Memorial Funeral Home with her grandson, Rev. Colby Bellew officiating. Burial will follow in Pine View Memorial Gardens, Wetumpka, AL.
