Barbara Jo Williams

Mrs. Barbara Jo Williams, age 69, was called to her heavenly home September 27, 2023. She was born January 6, 1954. She was a resident of Eclectic, Alabama and a member of First Baptist Church of Eclectic.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 2, 2023, at First Baptist Church of Eclectic at 12:00 pm with Dr. Britt Green and Shane Russell officiating. Visitation will take place from 11:00 am - 12:00 pm. Following the service, burial will be in Good Hope Baptist Cemetery.

Barbara is survived by her loving and faithful husband of 49 years, Stevie Williams; son, Brett Williams (Jacie); granddaughter, Maggie Williams; grandson, Price Williams; sister, Peggy Stearns (Donnie); sister, Linda Preskitt; brother, W.C. Mann (Vicki); sister-in-law, Linda Hall (James); brother-in-law, Ricky Williams (Debbie); numerous nieces and nephews, and so many loving friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Annie Pearl and Wilmer C. Mann; in-laws, Mack and Bobbie Williams; and brothers-in-law, Mickey Williams and Glenn Preskitt.

A loving wife, mother, and Gran Gran, Barbara loved her flowers, the color purple, and playing cards with all of her close friends. She was a life-long resident of Eclectic and enjoyed going to see her son Brett play baseball and her grandbabies Maggie and Price at half time shows with the band on Friday nights. She always loved her friends coming to visit her and going out to eat. She will be missed tremendously.
