Barbara Arlene Owens

Ms. Barbara Arlene Owens, 76, of Montgomery, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014. She was born September 20, 1937.

Visitation will be Friday, August 8 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Linville Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Saturday at 11 am at funeral home chapel with Dr. Mickey Kirkland officiating. Burial will follow at Good Hope Cemetery, Linville Memorial Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by children, Stanley Owens, Earl Owens, Debbie Eason, Gary Owens (Amy), Jeff Owens (Courtney), Jenny Taylor (Matthew); stepson, Jimmy Owens; fifteen grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She is also survived by sister, Helen Biles and brother, Joe Burnette.

Barbara was a loving, unselfish mother and her family meant the world to her. Her family away from home was Wal Mart where she enjoyed being the greeter to customers. She was known as the “Wal Mart Lady” and will be missed by many.
