Ann Dunaway Gamblin, 90, of Cara Vita Village in Montgomery, passed away on May 5, 2020 surrounded by her family. She was born August 24, 1929.
Due to the constraints brought about by the current coronavirus outbreak, a private funeral service will be held.
She is survived by her daughters, Cheryl (Barry) Holmes and Carol (John) Lanier; grandchildren, Christy Griffith (David) Tennant, Clint (Kelly) Griffith, Hilary Holmes (Matt) McKinney, Carrie Lanier (Jeff) Burnett, Melinda Lanier (Mike) Crouch and Joshua (Emi) Lanier; and fifteen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Roy Gamblin.
She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She taught school in many towns during the ministry she shared with her husband Roy. She used her musical talent to bless people throughout her life. She loved Jesus and wanted people to know Him. She will be greatly missed.
